The Crew

The Crew is IRAAC's broader community-facing program, focused on building skills, connection and participation across the community rather than within a single age group or cohort. Where MCC works organisation-to-organisation and YouthScape works with young people, The Crew is the program through which community members more widely take part in — and benefit from — the work IRAAC is building.

It runs through IRAAC and is supported end-to-end by the funding, reporting and administrative frameworks Sebenza maintains: proposals written to a standard funders trust, delivery tracked consistently, and outcomes reported through the same digital office as every other program.

Every program IRAAC runs starts from the same place: what individuals and families said they need, in their own words, through the people and programs they already trust. The Crew is where that principle applies most broadly — it's the program with the widest front door, open to the whole community rather than a defined cohort.

Sebenza's reporting systems then close the loop: they carry what community said all the way up to Boards, funders and government, so decisions about the program are made with community voice in the room — not lost somewhere between the ground and the top.
